Christmas 2013

Christmas is my favorite holiday! The decorations, the lights, the music and, of course, the birth of Jesus Christ. It's such a beautiful time of year! Unfortunately, this year the stomach bug and flu hit our house the day after the kids started break and didn't finish up for about a week.

We were able to have a little fun Christmas Eve with everyone feeling pretty good. Sean and the kids did a lot of cleaning for me and then we went to 4pm mass. Mason fell asleep so no annual family picture in the church :(

Once we made it home, we attempted a family photo in front of the Christmas tree before everyone changed. No tripod for the camera, but we became creative :)

Then Sean and I had gotten the fun snacks out for the night while the kids changed into pajamas and we all headed to the basement to do our family gift exchange.

That's about all I could handle before my aches and not feeling well set in again. I always tell Sean, "Moms are NOT supposed to get sick!" I hate feeling useless. We had fun watching a Christmas movie and Sean read the kids The Night Before Christmas again before they went to bed.

I was laid up on the couch most of Christmas day so I don't have many pics. Sean did get some with his phone, but I don't have my usual pics. Praying that next year we don't get hit with any sicknesses over Christmas!
