Fun with the Fuchs Cousins

All of us were so excited to have more family come visit us this past weekend. We LOVE having visitors! My sister Jessie came out with her two youngest, Braden and Jacey, and my mom. They arrived late on Friday night so we took our time getting going Saturday. I picked Madison up from a sleepover, we ate a quick bite for lunch at home and then we headed out to Radar Family Farms. We had a lot of fun and the kids were definitely tired by the time we left. Quick warning: lots of pictures will be inside this blog post :)

Yes Mike, this is your daughter on a RED tractor!!!

Noah & Mason on the hayrack.

One of the first stops was to get on the wooden horses and trying to lasso up a steer!

And then we hit straw bale activities, playing in the bins of corn, getting on the jumping pillow and so much more!

Summer being her goofy self :)

Jumping pillow.

We took a mini break after the jumping pillow and listened to the band play while filling up with some apple cider.

Then on to the straw bale castle!

And, of course, some quick pictures on the way out. We should have made my mom get into some of these with us. I guess it'll have to be next time.

The farm wore everyone out and we tried to just hang out and rest when we got home. We ordered pizza for that evening and Sean was nice enough to watch all the kids while Jessie, mom and I went shopping for a little bit.

Sunday we made it to mass. I was able to give my mom a short tour of the church/preschool after we fulfilled adoration duties. Sean had started brunch for us while we were out which consisted of french toast, bacon, eggs and toast. Yummy!!!

We grilled out Sunday evening since it was so nice out. The kids had a ton of fun playing outside. Below is Jacey & Mason playing in the wagon.

And then a few started to hit a wall even before we ate dinner.

All in all, we had a great time with family in town. We were able plan some activities along with just hanging out at home and visiting with each other. And the kids had a ball spending time playing together!

Now I can't wait to visit home (to Iowa) in a couple weeks for my brother's 40th birthday party and for the kids to have fun riding in the combine and tractors during harvest season!!! Love this time of year!
